Choosing the Right Fluoride Filter

The best fluoride removal system depends on your individual needs, how much fluoride you want to remove, where you want the system placed and more. Below we will try to help you decide which fluoride system is best suited to your needs.

Do you want to remove other contaminates in addition to fluoride?

If yes, you're in luck. Our systems are designed to reduce or eliminate a host of other materials, including lead, iron, cadmium, copper, mercury, aluminum, manganese, zinc, nickel, arsenic, pesticides, fertilizers, radio-nuclides, chlorine, radium, herbicides and uranium. They are also known to remove Nuvan, Malochite Green, Tributyl Tin Oxide, odors and turbidity.

Do you want to remove chloramines in addition to fluoride and the contaminates listed above?

If no, continue to the next section. If yes, our best option is the Five Stage Fluoride and Chloramine System. This includes enough stages to reduce 95% or more of fluoride and other contaminates as well as chloramine. Just choose the chloramine instead of the standard system.

How much fluoride do you want to remove?

  • Approx. 50%: The two stage countertop system can accomplish this goal and doesn't take up much counter space.
  • Approx. 75%: The three stage system is the minimum to remove this much fluoride. You can select countertop or undercounter.
  • Approx. 95%: The four stage system is the minimum to remove this much fluoride. Countertop or undercounter options are available.
  • Approx. 95% or More: The five stage standard system can remove more than the four stage. You can choose standard or select the chloramine removal option.

Would you prefer to remove fluoride from your whole house?

If you want to cover sinks and showers with one system, there are two whole house options available, each with customization options. The first is a four stage 20" Big Blue system. The second is a whole house tank system.

Is your fluoride level above 1.5 ppm?
