How to Set Up Your Multi-Chamber Bags for Ozone Therapy

Transcript

Hey everyone, my name is Colton and today I'll be setting up the multi-chambered bag.

Before we begin, you will need your oxygen source and ozone generator ready to continue with this setup. If you still need to set up your oxygen source or ozone generator, please watch our videos on how to set those up first.

For this setup, you will need a multi-chambered bag and a catheter. The multi-chambered bag and catheter are used to perform rectal and vaginal insufflations. To begin, you'll turn on your oxygen source and set the flow rate to whichever you would like, but 1/8 is very commonly used.

Now, you'll turn on the ozone generator to whichever setting you are needing. And immediately after, you'll attach the fitting on the multi-chambered bag to the ozone output of the generator to fill the bag to the desired volume. To fill the bag to a certain volume, you'll pinch these locations on the bag. If you only need to fill it to 200 ml, you'll pinch at this spot below the 200 mil chamber to block off the other chambers. Once the bag is filled and the chamber is tight, you can then disconnect the bag from the ozone output.

Clamp the tubing of the multi-chamber bag and power off the ozone generator. Now you can turn off your oxygen source. At this point, you have your ozone in the bag and can now take the catheter and attach this end to the fitting on the end of the multi-chamber bag tubing. Now you'll insert the catheter approximately 4 inches and then unclamp the tubing and roll the bag from the bottom to the top to push all the ozone out of the bag.
