What types of saunas do you offer?
Far infrared
dome saunas are excellent for people who prefer lying down while taking a sauna. Simply place the sauna on a floor mat and cover your body with the dome and allow it to infuse your body with the radiant warmth of far infrared.
Far infrared saunas (both stationary and portable) provide the healing benefits of far infrared (see below). We have wooden structures that can fit one to four people, outdoor models, and a variety of portable units that store easily and cost less.
Far infrared
sauna belts are worn around the waist and are often used as part of weight loss routines or for back pain and PMS. They are the most portable.
High heat saunas are more like the traditional saunas you may have seen, and include rocks that you splash water over to create steam.
Our
steam saunas include steam canopies (much like a dome sauna), steam sauna cabinets that enclose the entire body and cabinets that leave your head on the outside to watch television.
What is the difference between steam and far infrared?
Both steam and far infrared do a good job of detoxifying the body, relieving stress, reducing pain and aches, boosting the immune system, increasing circulation and enhancing the skin, among other things.
Far infrared is preferred by people who are uncomfortable in the high temperatures steam can create. Far infrared penetrates deeper and brings out more sweat with lower temperatures than steam.
Steam saunas are preferred by those who wish to incorporate ozone therapy into their routine and those who need relief from coughing, dryness, spasmodic breathing and other similar problems. Steam can relieve throat irritation by moistening the air, loosen secretions and can act as a natural expectorant. Aroma oils are also a wonderful therapy to use in steam saunas.
Some people prefer to have one of each so their every mood and need is covered.
