Product Description

The Posture Pump Cervical Disc Hydrator decompresses and aligns cervical discs in the neck and can restore normal cervical curve.

Medicare HCPCS Code:  E0849.  The Posture Pump has been upgraded and is now even more effective and comfortable. It now includes a comfort visor with no jaw or chin contact, that molds to your forehead shape. No neck hyper-extension. The Expanding Ellipsoidal Decompression air cell hydrates and decompresses discs to help restore proper curve and shaping.

The Posture Pump 1000 is a lightweight cervical disc hydrator that is designed to align and decompress the cervical spine in the neck.  It uses EED, Expanding Ellipsoidal Decompression, created by the expanding air cell that can deliver up to 32 pounds of tractional multi-vectored force.  Alternative vectors can be attained by moving the unit below or above the mid cervical region.

MRI studies approved by IRB have shown that using EED via the Posture Pump caused posterior, center and anterior high level joint separation.  As this happens, bulging disc material is pulled toward the nucleus pulposis and pulled away from the spinal cord.  This aligns joints in the proper curved configuration and increases disc height in the right ratio to the natural wedged shape of the disc.

This is far better than common linear traction that removes the natural curved shape of the cervical spine.  With the Posture Pump, this natural curve is retained.  Continuous contraction and expandion of the air cell creates alternating milking and hydration of the intervertebral discs.  Longer periods of expansion are used for restoration of the cervical curve.
