Tips to prevent the spread of the flu:

Flu is known to spread from person to person via coughing, sneezing and even touching.  It is important to cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of the tissue after use.

Frequently wash your hands with warm soap and water especially after coughing or sneezing.  Use alcohol based hand wipes when washing is not possible.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth to lessen the spread of germs.

Stay home if you feel you have contacted a virus.  The CDC recommends you stay away from people as much as possible. Please follow all public health advice regarding the closure of schools and avoidance of social contact when you're sick.

Prepare a family emergency plan. Include food, water, medicines, face masks and other necessary supplies.

Other Recommendations:

One of the most important items to own is an Ozone Air Purifier. Ozone has the ability to inactivate viruses, bacteria, or any pathogen.
