The String Back LSO provides compression and stabilizes your spine.

The String Back LSO uses a fixed wheel and string system to ensure a supine position and immobilized back.  The String Back gives you circumferential compression and promotes healing after post-operative back surgery.  The brace is cinched to the spine to give you an anti-gravity lift.  Breathable mesh allows for long term and active use and gives you an anatomically correct fit with adjustable lumbar compression.  It provides ease of application with a gliding tension pull system so it is easier for even weaker patients.

How to fit the system

The String Back needs to be properly sized, which you can do using the sizing chart below (measure your waist around the navel).  While standing, the String Back is wrapped around the waist with the posterior panel in the back, resting on top of the buttocks.  Close the front end with the velcro with the thermoplastic anterior panel centered in the front.  Make sure it is tightly closed, then pull the cord until you get the level of support you need.  It should feel custom sized and should fit you snugly.  Your lower back should feel slightly lifted to reduce pressure on the area.
