The Solar Kaddy 135 has a 1320 watt battery, 1600 watt inverter and a 135 watt solar panel to run a variety of tools and appliances.
What will it power? This system will power any common household appliance as well as large shop equipment like table saws, chop saws, large air compressors, radial saws and more. Have you seen the solar generator on television that retails for $2000? This battery stores twice as much power, the solar panel produces 1.5 times the power and the inverter has double the output. In it's class, this system is a serious contender. See a comparison chart of what each unit can power.

More about the system
The battery stores a total of 1320 watts (12volts x 110amps) and is the base of the system. It is a deep cycle Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) sealed lead acid battery. Deep cycle batteries have thicker, solid lead plates as opposed to the thin, porous plates you find in car batteries. Unlike car batteries, a deep cycle can discharge over a longer time period over and over and over again.
Deep cycle batteries can be totally discharged before recharging but it's best to stay above 50% to prolong battery life (an occasional total discharge is ok). Since the Solar Kaddy 135 stores 1320 watts a 50% discharge would mean 660 watts would be readily available.
Our inverter can produce up to 3000 watts per hour. A 100 watt light bulb can be used for 6.6 hours before draining the battery to 50%. A 1200 watt hair dryer could be used for 33 minutes before draining the battery to 50%. The inverter lets you operate several products at once or devices that draw large amounts of power.
With the 135 watt solar panel in full sunlight, operating a device that draws 135 watts of power of less, the battery would never discharge because the amount being brought in is the same or more than what is drawn out.
