If you want to remove fluoride from more than your kitchen sink, a whole house system will work for you.  This system removes fluoride from every faucet with one convenient system.   Estimated life based on a household of four people is approximately two  to three years.

There are two system options:  the whole house with one cubic foot of bone char and the whole house with two cubic feet of bone char.  You can also choose to add on a 10" Big Blue housing sediment prefilter (recommended).

One cubic foot of bone char will remove approximately 2.0 mg/l of fluoride. Bone char is known to be one of the most effective methods to remove any type of fluoride from your drinking  water. Bone char is also very effective removing heavy metals, pesticides and chlorine.   All of our fluoride removal filters are the Brimac brand that has an NSF61 certification.

An optional backwash system is available at an extra cost. Back washing may increase the life of your filter medium, but does increase the use of water. Backwashing will typically use 7 gallons per minute for 10 minutes (70 gallons). You can program this unit to operate everyday or up to every 12 days.

If  you have a high amount of sediment turbidity in your water (usually from old pipes or frequent water line breakage) we highly encourage you to install a sediment pre filter on your system to avoid your new filter system from clogging and being ineffective.  We offer sediment pre filters as an option to eliminate any sediment or dirt debris that may clog your Brimac filters. We strongly encourage you to purchase the pre filter if you have the above situation. Debris can clog the pores of these filters and may reduce the water pressure of your whole house Fluoride removal system. This may result in reduced effectiveness to remove fluoride. Promolife is not responsible if your filters clog soon after you install your fluoride removal water purifier.
