IRB Approved MRI Studeies have concluded that during EED via a Posture Pump, high level joint separation at the posterior, center and anterior aspect of the disc is achieved by expansion of an elliptical air cell into the cervical lordotic concavity.  As EED occurs, bulging disc material is drawn toward the nucleus pulposis and away from the spinal cord.  This unique action aligns joints in a curved configuration while increasing disc height in a ratio corresponding to the disc's natural wedged shape.
