This hand-held light therapy unit has 185 diodes: 90 infrared, which stimulates deep tissue; 60 red, for tissues and cells closer to the surface; 14 green, designed to support the bio-electromagnetic field that surrounds the body; 11 orange, which helps relieve muscle hypertonicity (tension); and 10 yellow, to activate the lymph and stimulate the sensory and motor nervous system.

The combined effects are useful for soft tissue injuries, arthritis and other joint problems and for reducing pain. The Pain-X has FDA clearance for minor muscle and joint aches and pains, as well as for muscle relaxation.
