Solar generators provide clean energy for emergencies, small buildings, campers or a variety of other situations.

Having a backup power source can be a lifesaver in an emergency or disaster.  Gas generators typically do a good job but are loud and are rendered useless if there isn't a ready gas supply.  If you don't live in a place that is perpetually dark, a solar generator can give you the power you need to get through a variety of situations.  Smaller units are also great for camping or RVs.  All of these systems come with deep cycle batteries which are vastly superior to car batteries for storing power.
 

How do I know which system I need?

There are three parts of a solar power system:  the battery, the solar panel and the inverter.  The larger size and number of batteries you have, the more power you can store.  The larger size and number of solar panels you have, the faster you can recharge those batteries.  And the larger the inverter, the more power you can draw out of the batteries at one time. 

It comes down to what you want to power.  Most normal household appliances can run off a 1500 watt inverter.  Larger appliances that draw more power will need a larger inverter.  Below is a quick comparison of our units.  You can also see a more detailed comparison chart of what each unit can power and for how long.
