The IQ 20 will dry the air that goes into your ozone generator, making your unit last longer and work better.
This air dryer has one (1) vertical chamber, which will regenerate all of the desiccant material, even when operated at an excessive flow rate. Ideally this unit should have a 3 hour run time, then a 2 hour dry time. But if you run your pool around 8-10 hours per day, you should be able to run this unit for that period of time before any drying is required. You can set the dry time during the inactive period of your pool pump cycle. There is a desiccant color indicator on this unit that will give you an idea if this dryer is holding too much moisture. It all depends on the humidity and temperature. Dry areas such as Arizona will not require drying as often as an area such as Florida.
