Electromagnetic frequency protection is growing in importance as the amount of EMF emitting technology grows.

EMF is the abbreviation for the electromagnetic frequency or electromagnetic fields. Electromagnetic waves are made by the movement of electrically charged particles.  These electromagnetic waves are known as "electromagnetic radiation" because they radiate from those electrically charged particles. They can go through air, empty space and other substances, so essentially, just about everything. The waves don't stop when they come across a human body and say, "Oh sorry, carry on." They're everywhere, emanating from microwaves, radios, televisions, power lines and just about everything else.
 

Is EMF Radiation harmful?

EMF is everywhere, but is it harmful? Health concerns from scientific studies range from cancer clusters in neighborhoods with high voltage power lines, allergies, mood disorders, to fatigue and stress from use of computers or any electrical tool or machine. There is a lot of evidence that this radiation can be extremely harmful. A more recent example is from studies that show that EMF radiation from cell phones can cause or speed tumors in the head. And while it hasn't been thoroughly studied yet, some believe that EMF radiation can have something to do with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease). A study by The Cleveland Clinic linked cell phone radiation and lower sperm count.

Because EMF radiation is everywhere and in all of our most popular tools and devices, there is a lot of interest in proving that EMF is not harmful. The studies to date however seem to show that it is in many cases.
