The Flamingo Full Spectrum Floor Lamp helps with Seasonal Affective Disorder and other problems caused by light deprivation.

The Flamingo is very practical.  You can use it as a floor lamp while you're reading, exercising or doing anything that requires sitting for 30-60 minutes and get the benefits of full spectrum light.  The lamp stands at 46" high and provides the warm light your body craves.
 

How should I use it?

At 10-12 inches away, the Flamingo delivers 10,000 lux and should be used for 20-30 minutes. At 18 inches, the Flamingo delivers 5,000 lux of light, and we recommend its use for about one hour each day, preferably in the morning. The treatment works through the eyes, but does not necessitate looking directly into the light.
