If you garden, you need to feed your plants pure water. You will notice a big difference. Chlorinated water can destroy important microbes that are known to enhance the nutrients your soil is able to release to your plants.  Removing the all the toxic chemicals will help your plants grow better. Pure water is not just for people. Your plants need to be chlorine and chemical free too. The Garden Water Purification Filter System is great for watering your vegetable and flower gardens. Your pet will love pure water too.

Simple to install and use. Uses standard size (2.5" x 9.75") filter cartridges and connects to standard 3/4" garden hose fittings. You'll need two hoses - one to provide an inlet and a second to deliver the water to its point of use. Adapters are included as well as a mounting bracket with screws in case you'd like to hang the filter on a wall or the side of a garden cart.

Price includes the filter (optional choices), housing, mounting bracket, screws, housing wrench and brass garden hose fittings. You have a choice of GAC/KDF or Bone Char filter cartridges. We do not recommend carbon block because of its tendency to restrict water flow, but will provide it as an option if you wish. If you have fluoride in your water, we highly recommend using Bone Char, which also will remove chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides and other contaminates. GAC/KDF will remove chlorine, heavy metals and pesticides.

How long will the filters last? Of course it depends on the amount of water you use. If you are a year round gardener, about 8 to 12 months. If you are a seasonal gardener you should get 2 seasons. Remember if your water begins to smell chlorine or the water flow begins to diminish, this is a good indication to change your filter. It is advisable to store your filter cartridge in a refrigerator during the off months of non-usage. Just remove the cartridge from the housing, empty and drain all the water, place the cartridge in a plastic bag and place in the refrigerator. This will help preserve your filter for future use.
