The Clearlight Sanctuary Far Infrared Sauna is made from western red Canadian cedar and features a variety of advancements.

Construction and Features

The Clearlight Sanctuary Far Infrared Saunas feature tongue and groove construction, made of grade A cedar wood.  Windows are in place for ventilation and light, the recessed halogen lights are great for reading or to set your mood, the LCD swivel touch screen controls time, temperature and the lights and the AM/FM/CD/DVD stereo provides relaxation or entertainment.

You can swivel the controls to use them inside or outside of the sauna, or watch a DVD on the screen.  Video can also be played via an SD card or USB.  The controller has a Reservation Mode so you can set it to turn on at a certain time in the next 24 hours. 

About the True Wave II Heaters

Clearlight Sanctuary Far Infrared Saunas use our True Wave II heaters.  These heaters are a combination carbon/ceramic to provide the best of both.  The carbon lets the heater produce long wave far infrared heat that will penetrate deeply into the body.  The organic ceramic compound gives the heaters a very high output of far infrared.  See the comparison below.

The heaters are positioned so the heat is concentrated on you.  Heaters placed over your head only heat the air, not your body - you don't have to worry about that in a Clearlight.  You'll get the most benefit this way.  Because the heaters surround you on all sides and from the floor you are completely enveloped in far infrared.  The floor heater is easy to clean and has no bacteria buildup.

For a constant heat just set the control to the highest setting, which will give you 100% constant far infrared heat with no shut off for your whole 30 to 45 minute session.

Heater Specifications

The large size of our heaters allow for a lower surface temperature than other heaters which provides better performance in the 7 to 14 micron range, with a good portion at 9.4 microns, the desired frequency for far infrared therapy.
