The AlkaPod creates sweet tasting and silky smooth water at a pH of 7+ to 9.5.  It usually increases pH by two or more points.  The resulting water has a low negative Oxygen Reduction Potential (ORP; typically reduced by at least 200mv), giving it powerful antioxidant properties.  Activated hydrogen helps eliminate free radicals and the small water clusters make it more easily absorbable for better hydration. 

It only takes a few moments for alkaline water to be created.  It uses non-toxic materials with no chemical leaching, it's easy to clean and an average daily use of two to three liters will still only require a filter change about once a year.

The Minerals

The AlkaPod contains Tourmaline, Zeolites, Maifanshi, Far Infrared, Muyu stone, Clay, Kaolin Earth and Nano Silver. 

Tourmaline induces electrolysis (the method for ionizing water), far infrared and negative ions.  Far infrared has been shown to promote healing and growth of living cells.  Zeolite has a negative magnetic charge and attracts and engulfs heavy metals and toxins, sticking to them until your body safely eliminates them.  It acts as an antioxidant and can help nullify nitrosamines in your digestive tract (nitrsamines are a factor in type II diabetes and some cancers).
