A quick note about water filter types

Sediment filters help trap silt, sediments and sand in the water and helps keep your filter system from clogging.  KDF filters help remove chlorine, chloramines, hydrogen sulfide, fungus, iron, bacteria, algae, most heavy metals and other pollutants.  Carbon block filters help remove sediment, chlorine and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).  They can also eliminate chlorine tastes and odors.  Bone char is the most effective filter at removing fluoride, chlorine and radioactive isotopes.
