What types of water purifiers are available?
We carry an array of options because everyone is looking for something different. Here is a quick rundown of the types of filters and accessories we provide.
Fluoride Filters: For those who want overall water purification with a focus on fluoride. Our NSF61 approved bone char filters are designed for fluoride removal and also remove a wide range of heavy metals and other contaminates. System sizes are provided to give you flexibility for your needs.
Energy Stone Filters - These filters provide SGE Stone water that has been popular in Japan for 25 years and used in Japanese hospitals.
Garden Water Filters: Designed specifically to purify the water you use in your yard and garden.
Ozone Water Purifiers: Ozone is FDA approved for sanitation and purification. Because it is one of the most powerful oxidants you can get, ozone inactivates metals, viruses, contaminates, bacteria more effectively and faster than chlorine, and it's much safer. Ozone is used in a host of water systems.
Reverse Osmosis Water Purifiers: Reverse osmosis doesn't use electricity. Water is pushed through the membrane that pulls out pollutants and provides 99.99% pure water. Some water is wasted in these systems.
Steam Distillation: Steam distillers provide 99.9% pure water. Water is boiled into steam that then drips pure water into another container, leaving contaminates behind to be disposed of easily.
Ultraviolet Water Purifiers: These systems are used with already filtered water so you will also need a separate purification system. The UV light kills remaining bacteria, yeasts, molds, viruses and other organisms for 99.999% elimination.
Alkaline Water Ionizers: Many ionizers also provide purification but their main focus is to ionize water for better hydration and a less acidic body. Many people point to alkaline water for a variety of health benefits.
Water Softeners: Water softeners are not purifiers per se. They keep your pipes and water heaters clean of scale without needing to use potassium or salt.
