A quick note about water filter types

Sediment filters help trap sand, silt and sediments in the water and keeps your filter system from clogging.  KDF filters help remove chloramines, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine, iron, fungus, bacteria, algae, most heavy metals and other contaminates.  Carbon block filters help remove chlorine, sediment and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).  They also remove chlorine tastes and odors.  Bone char is the most effective at removing fluoride, chlorine and radioactive isotopes.
