If you want to lower your energy bills, learn how to control energy usage, or have backup readings to compare to your meter information, an energy monitor is what you need. They are simple to install and give you instant feedback on your usage, and you can see daily, weekly or monthly data.
There are several models available. The Efergy Elite has an innovative memory function. The Efergy E2 gives you more data (including hourly use and averages) that can be downloaded and archived on your computer. They both come with either two or three split core current transformers for flexibility and both are very affordable. Both can monitor 110/120 volt items or 220/240 volt items.
